For all the English speaking people here, would it be possible to get
a translation? My high-school Spanish is a bit rusty. Anyhow, if
there's a letterbox in eastern Connecticut, I bet most people in that
area who want to find it probably don't speak Spanish.

Or is finding someone to translate it part of the challenge in
finding this box?

this morning i did the translation for the drew box that is in spanish -
but not sure if it would be fair to post it?

does anyone want to see it? my spanish is rusty and it did not make

I guess that's one incentive to start learning Spanish, huh? =) I
can see it now:

Person 1: I speak Spanish fluently!
Person 2: Really? Why? Are you going to vacation in Mexico next
summer or something?
Person 1: Nawww... I needed it to find a letterbox in Connecticut.

Actually, I already tried running the clue through a Spanish-to-
English online translator, so I have the gist of what it says.
(Mostly. Kind of. Sort of. Not really.) But those are far from
perfect and I certainly wouldn't use such a translation for finding
the letterbox!

I spent a few hours last week watching Spanish soaps. It was much
more entertaining than the English language ones, even if I can't
understand 99% of the stuff they said. =) Strange that Spanish
would pop up in a totally new place after "reaquainting" myself with
it less than a week ago.

I haven't even a smattering of Spanish, but I have a few words of
Medieval Latin. It doesn't help. Nope, not one bit. I'll have to
carry the clues around with me everywhere and maybe I'll run into
someone to translate someday.

Hi,
I've been lurking and have to add my .02 to the conversation. IMHO, part
of the mystery is finding a way to get the clue translated. Spanish
should be easier than some of the other clues out there . . .
Enjoying our new hobby of letterboxing. Thanks to Stephani for getting
us hooked.
The challenge of finding the boxes is getting me out to get some
exercise.
